Want to upgrade my HP Mini 210 1199DX

I have much basic computer knowledge and have built a few PCs in my day, but have never had to upgrade a laptop before, let alone netbook.

My first question is about RAM, I've read my netbook takes DDR3 ram and 2gb is the max. Am I correct to assume any 2gb DDR3 ram will be compatible?

And secondly can I upgrade the hard drive to a solid state hard drive and if so what specifications do I need to look for in a solid state drive?

Bete is probably correct Money spent on 'upgrading' an older machine is best used to toward a new replacement.

Simply secure/remove hard drive.
