Hi, I want to replace my on board graphics card for something with a little more bite. Is it a fairly straightforward process.

Thanks In Advance...

Hi chrischambers. As TC says it is usually a very straightforward process. If you can tell us what motherboard you have, we may be able to give some more specific advice.

Hi I have a Foxconn 662 7MA and a 2.53 gigahertz Intel Celeron processor.

The thing that causes the most problem with replacing graphics card is the power supply in my opinion, the Forum has had a lot of posts from people who have bought new cards only to find that the power supply will not cope.
I would check and see what your power supply is rated at.
