Hello

I am selling DVD's from my website and would like to be able to show a clip from the DVD to visitors.

I would expect the clip to be a file that was playable with windows media player and be as small as possible.

How do I create a film clip from the DVD?

Looking inside the DVD I see about 16 files with these three file extensions.

.VOB .IFO .BUP

Can anyone guide me here please.

Thank you

Richard

Wouldnt it be better to have the trailers from the films posted on your site.

You can go onto youtube and embed any of the trailers from there site to yours,

Im sure all the movies you are selling have the trailers on there.

Heres an example.

You can even set the size of the embedded video using the embed code.

<object width="560" height="340">

I am not sure what you mean, these DVD's I have are technical tutorials, they do not have a trailer.

Neither do I understand how to embed something in utube.

Can we go on from here?

Hello again

You see I was hoping there was some kind of software that could do this.

Hi two ways to go either convert the relevantvob file to whatever format you like trial and error as to getting the correct section .Or use dvd shrink its free click here open the dvd you can then select the relevant section using its reauthor facility you can actually see the video to select save that as a hard disc folder (Video_ts) then just convert that to whatever usin Super C also Free click here
