hello everyone, i am about to reinstall windows XP and would like to know if i will have to set the mobo bios back to using on board graphics as it will be a complete reformat of the hard drive, and i assume that the ATI drivers would go for my radeon 9550, i have the driver CD but im not really sure, help would be much appresiated

No you do not need to set your bios to using onboard graphics.
Windows should recognise your graphics card and that using it's standard graphics drivers, which you can replace with your drivers on the disk.
No need to go back to integrated graphics.
If you are not sure whether the drivers are ok, just google online for the drivers appropriate for your card.

XP includes native display drivers which will allow your system to run at a reasonable resolution when you re-install the OS, so no need to have the drivers from the outset.

Rather than use a CD download the up to date drivers from ATi click here
