Wanadoo Anytime - Outlook Express problems

I have a Wanadoo Anytime account but am unable to send or receive emails via Outlook Express, although I can receive and send via Wanadoo. I have entered the correct server settings as supplied by Wanadoo. Any suggestions please?

I wonder if this is down to your POP and SMTP settings. I don't know how long you have had the account, but mine is working with the following setting:

pop.freeserve.net
smtp.freeserve.net.

Try it and let me know how you get on?

If the Wanadoo account is working o.k. it sounds like you may not have changed the program to handle your e.mails to outlook express.

1. Go to the tool menu at the top of the page
2. Select internet options
3. Click on programs
4. Using the drop dowm menus select outlook
express as your e.mail and news group program
5. Click apply

If this does't work you need to let us know where the program is failing when you test the account in the set up.
