W7 Updates

Because W7 support has ended,can I still re-install W7 and fully update the OS? Thank You

Yes; try to install a version with SP1 at least . Be prepared for the updates to take hours!

Thank you for the reply. I have looked at my W7 Box,it just states W7 Home Premium. If it was SP1,would the packaging state this ? Thanks

Cardboard box might mention SP1 or might not. Hologram Label on the box and the DVD itself definitely will mention SP1 unless it is the original (SP0) release.

You can download SP1 (actually SP1 U Media Refresh) iso file from Heidoc and burn your own DVD if you want.
Scroll down and choose English USA and the 32 or 64 bit version you want.

While license keys are the same for 32 & 64 bit versions, Home, Professional and Ultimate are different.

So that has to be the same as your current version.
