In XP there is "desktop" icon in the quick launch area, but not in W7.

Any ideas on how to create one?

As I like XP's Quick launch, I used the same tutorial the other day to do it :-).

For some reason I found pasting "%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch" in the Folder field (3rd pic) worked better. G

As Eric10 is going to say in the future...

"This isn't a direct answer to your Quick Launch query but 'Windows Key + M' still minimises all open programs to show the Desktop in Windows 7."

I can confirm that it works. G
