C:\System Volume Information\_restore{2018DCF6-C3EF-4A1F-992B-F2E5DC55893C}\RP5\A0004506.exe
This is the file that is infected on my computer. I cannot shift it. I have been on the Sophos Web Site and followed there instructions. But when I try to amend edit the registry settings it keeps throwing me out before I have chance to do anything. Also access to the above infected file is denied. How can I get rid of it?

You will have to manually disable System restore; cleaners will not work in the restore volumes.
