W2K BSoD Message

I am running W2K on a P4 3.00 with ample HD and 1 Gb ram.
I was having problems with a USB hub driver that suddenly would not allow me to "see" an HP 1215 ink jet printer. I finally got the missing driver for the hub and all looked well. After rebooting again, when I went to turn on the HP 1215 and let the "Found Hardware" take over, I got the Blue Screen of Death. I have tried to locate some specific details about what the message meant on the Internet, but to no avail. Can anyone shed some light on what this message might mean?

Can you get into safemode; if so look in device manager.

I should have been more specific, sorry. My computer is up and running. Device manager shows no exceptions. The only problem occurs when I try to turn on, i.e. install, the HP 1215 printer. That is when I get the message above.

One more note: I did go to the HP site and download the latest software/drivers for the printer and am using them but they did not help.
