CDs or MP3 files?

On the same track?
or one track loud another one quite?

Perhaps you need to use Volume levelling on MP3 files.

looks like hardware problem, with sound card or onboard sound

Hi, check your audio connections, might just be a simple 'wiggle' of a cable to fix.

I had a very similar occurrence just yesterday, having had no problems before, a gentle 'wiggle' at back of pc cured it. Working ok since.

Could also be a Faulty amp in the speaker

are you running anything else at the same time? ie d/loading etc.

RIGHT TECHNOTIGER!!! Gave the audio connections at the back of the pc a 'WIGGLE' and there was a big blue flash followed by a long crackly static noise and all of a sudden I found myself and my computer in Whitechapel circa 1888, myself sporting an impressive set of side burns and being questioned by one Inspector Abberline about the 'CUTTING UP' of a prostitute called Annie Chapman!! After an hour of interogation, I gave the audio connections another 'WIGGLE' and found myself back in 2007! Great advice mate!!!!!!!!!

ps my volume problem has been fixed so thank you.

Might give the audio connections another 'WIGGLE' and see where it takes me! Who needs a DeLorean!!!
