Volume Control

I used to have the Volume Controll in the little icon window next to the clock at the right hand side of the task bar. It's gone missing and I cannot find a way to add it.

I can put it into the quick launch taskbar but not where I want it.

Any ideas?

Hi Brundle, tried that. There's already a tick in the box but still no icon.

Is it there, but as a hidden icon?

Right click the task bar, select properties, from the Notification Area click Customise and then make sure that the speaker icon is selected as Always Show.

Follow what Chris the Ancient says. But if no icons show and there is no expand arrow go back to Customize, Current Items. And then make sure that one of the programs has got always hide on the dropdown bar.

Hi Chris, that worked. Thank you. I've been trying to get it back for days!

All sorted, I knew I'd come to the right place.

I also have my icon missing, have right clicked but the volume is no available to be clicked. Any ideas how to solve this?
