im just wondering is there such things as when speak into the microphone and the pc/software can understand you voice and what ever your saying it writes it down???
if there is such thing, what is the actuall name of it??

This was once the leader in the field; takes some time to train but people got good results from it.

It's a difficult process and not going to be 100% accurate but advances are being made.

Hi Mit123,
You didn't say what operating system you have. If you have XP it comes with its own speech recognition engine, you find it in the control panal under speech, it needs training but they all do
