Hi, I have just bought a new PC which has Vista Home premium installed. Some of the programs that I used to use on XP Pro. dont work with Vista.
If I took the Hard drive from the XP machine and Installed it as Slave in the Vista machine would i be able to use programs such as MP Navigator which came with my printer.
Kind Regards

No, XP would not boot from slave drive as drivers would be incorrect.

You may get away with doing a XP repair install to the slave drive(to replace the drivers) and using the VISTA boot loader to allow you to boot from the slave drive but it won.'t be easy.

Fruit Bat,Many thanks for your reply, I think I will forget the idea it sounds a bit iffy.
I have to admit that Vista is growing on me.
Thanks again,
