I have just done an upgrade from XP to Vista Home Premium.

I have a desktop, email, and internet access. BUT IE7 will not work, at all. Is there a Firefox version for Vista that I can use? I am logged on here through another laptop so I propose to download to her and email it to my PC for installation.

Ah - you have exactly the problem that I had. I found that Firefox 2 worked with Vista. However, I've since reverted to XP.

Firefox version 2.0.0.1 works fine in Vista and so does my IE7.

You would have thought IE7 would work.

Wouldn't you?

Thanks guys. I'm stuffed (technical term) without a browser. I'll try FF2.

OK many thanks I'm up and running with FF2. I like IE7 but this looks pretty good as well.

Any advice on using FF2 will be most welcome, for example are there any plug ins which help with functionality? a spell checker would help greatly!

I'll post my Vista experiences in the Vista forum but not getting IE7 working is bazare.

Great thank you all. I wish Vista was as simple.
