My Acer desktop is using Vista Home Premium.
Was working o.k. but now every time I switch on
I get the option to use "Startup repair" or "start windows normaly" I have let computer run in "Startup repair" several times hoping it will repair itself but the same thing happens now every time I boot up. I am logging off and shutting down correctly. Anybody help with this problem?
Thanks.
Tony.

Press F5/F8 at bootup until you get the startup menu; from there choose safemode and see if it will start.
