Vista revisited and rejected

After some months with Vista on my machine, I finally gave up the battle and spent most of Christmas re-installing my lovely, stable, simple-to-use XP.

The last straws, apart from always having to confirm administrator rights, were the inability of Aconis8 to perform a back-up, (Not having administrative rights: grr), the inability (at this late stage), to complete a process in Media Face labelling and the rubbishy new games which do not give the option of internet Hearts and Spades.

Also the news that the New York Times revealed there are several new flaws.

I take the view that the Hackers, always looking for the new challenge will leave XP alone in the new year and launch an all-out attack on Vista.

I have found Office Professional 2007 very good and I will take that. I have that installed on XP.
