Burn the image you downloaded from the internet to DVD, then insert the dvd when starting up and select Repair option.

That's only for the United States?

There isn't a repair option with Vista, which is annoying. The workaround is to do an upgrade install.

Kate is right. In effect it's like doing an install.

In other words you use the install disc and when reaching the install screen it will give the option to "repair" (as well as install) choose repair and follow thw instructions on screen.

I should have added that before you get to the screen which gives the choice to repair (bottom left of screen) you will go through the Install Windows screen, make the appropriate selections foe Language to Install, Time and Currency Format, and Keyboard or Input Method.

After clicking Next the screen with the repair option will appear.
