I have two pc vista prem & xp home both are connected to aol & work ok but i have norton 360 version 2 on both pc,looking at network security map on norton on both pc the ip address on both pc are different & the physical are different,what i want to know is this correct.or do i need to change this & how to do this in simple way

Both PC's will have a unique IP address otherwise the network doesn't know how to identify them - so yes they should be different but quite similar. The same with the Physical Address of the LAN card - each is a unique item and will have it's own ID.

Go to each PC and open command prompt (cmd.exe), then type following command to display correct IP address.

ipconfig
