If I buy a new laptop with Vista on it, but not much other software, will I be able to instal my older version of Office, its 2003? I don't really want to buy Office 2007 unless I really have to. Any advice apreciated, thankyou.

I ran Office 97 on vista for a while, so Office 2003 will work fine.

Just make sure your hard drive is big enough Vista does take 20 to 25 Gig of space and with update downloads it does build up
Office not so bad at taking up space on your hard drive
I would suggest 350 G hard drive is about normal particularly if you save your pictures
But perhaps you should be looking at the new microsoft system which comes out late 2009 or early 2010
Vista may be gone in a few years like XP is going now

I run Office 2003 on a Vista laptop with absolutely no problems at all.

Also make sure that the laptop has at least 2 and ideally 3 GB of RAM to run Vista
