Hello i bought a new computer a few months ago and it uses Wins Vista. I notice it has its own Malware and Firewall setup. I just want to know is the Vista's Firewall quite adequate, or should i download an independant system? If so what is the best free one to have? Hope to hear from someone soon thank you.

Vista Firewall is adequate although there is better.

Malware should be windows defender you could back it up with a free one like supeantispyware

You definitely need Anivirus Avast or AVG are good free ones.

Hello thank you for your reply. What you said seems fine then. I have AVG already installed; but after a major trojan attack on my system two days ago someone here has already advised me about using Superspyware and Malwarebyte and they seem to have dealt with the problems. I just wanted to make sure the Vista's firewall was adequate as well, thanks for your help.
