Hi, I wonder if anybody has tried to do this? My friends pc is running Win2K. I fitted a new drive in the m/c and with an OEM version of Vista installed it from 2k so m/c dual boots. However I would like to know now if "Easy Transfer" can be used to migrate settings/programs from the 2K disc to the Vista Disc? All I have seen is from one computer to another but this is from two seperate drives in the same m/c. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't see any reason why having the two operating systems in the same computer should make any difference. Boot with Windows 2000 and treat it as a stand-alone PC running that OS. Use the "Easy Transfer" software and then boot into Vista.
