Visited web pages

When you have previously visited a web page the Link usually appears in a differnet colour on the search engine. This is obviouly useful, what I was wondering was where this info is stored within Windows/Internet Explorer. Just curious, anyone help?

An indent is stored in your Temporary internet folders.. on all Windows except Win2k you can type cookies into run and you will see lots of tiny files, these are references of where you have been.

Also click on settings in Internet options then view files..
