I've tried a couple of things that people have suggested earier but I still can't get rid of this virus (wingor.a).

Any more suggestions please!

I have looked on both Grisoft(AVG) and Symantec (NAV) and neither have any reference to a wingor. Does it have another name?

There are just a couple of hits on Google but no definition or explanation.

Could this actually be spyware?

Have you run Spybot or Adaware or something similar to see if this removes it.
