i seem to have picked up a virus, it was in an email that apparently came from microsoft. i am now receiving 50 emails a day telling me that emails i sent (which i have not) cannot be sent as they contain a virus. help

Oh dear jstaunton!, it appears as if you either have no virus protection, or your definition update files are many months out of date. Protection for this virus was incorporated in the Norton files last March.

However, your first priority is to get rid of this pest. Norton have a removal tool for this, and I suggest you go to:
