Virus, Trojan, Adware troubles.

On starting up PC, the Antivirus sometimes shows the message -
"Infiltration found in system...during scan of files at PC startup, a malicious code found." The infected file is C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\nnnmlkk.dll - a variant of WIN32/Adware.Virtumonde.App.

I then follow instructions to Cleanse & Delete infected file. This continues to happen.

Also, when running in depth scan with Antivirus, continue to have messages of files infected with -
trojan WIN32/IRCBot.AAH, or
WIN32/TrojanDownloader.ConHook trojan, or
WIN32/Adware.Virtumonde FP Application.

Files infected are often found in C:Docs&Set,LocSet,Temp Int Files,Contents, IE5 etc

Symptoms are PC slowing down at times. Also, various porn/gambling type ads pop up from nowhere.

Any advice on how to deal with this would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

There is a link to a malware forum in this link if vundofix fails, more dedicated to the issues that you have...

Have to say the fix was used by my son for the same issues and it worked for him...

Thanks to VOG & SANTOS.

I have clicked on the link supplied by VOG, but I remain on the forum page.

Is that correct, or should I be transferred to another page/site?

Thanks

I also clicked on the first link supplied by SANTOS, and again, I did not leave the page I was on?

I will get on & follow the link to the GeekSite supplied later on

Thanks

mfletch, keep up luv, posted that link hour n half ago...

Pardon my ignorance Santos, but I have now got onto the softmedia site.
Can I just check, if I download & use the software suggested, will it cause any problems with my existing antivirus software. (I often hear people say you should only have one running at any time?)
Once downloaded & used, should I keep it on my PC, together with my existing one.
Thanks

I think the issues with navigation are conducive to the malware problem he has mfletch, its a particularly nasty piece of kit and stubborn too..

dm77 just download and use the fixingtool as long as you don't have any autoscans going the fix will work... might take a few goes tho..
