I AM RUNNING A HOME BUILD COMPUTER WItH XP PROFESSIONAL AND I HAVE A VIRUS WHICH MANIFEStS AS DUPLICAtiNG SHORT CUTS ON thE DESKTOP AND GIVING CAPS AND LOWERCASE WHEN TyPING AND NOT BEING ABLE TO USE NUMERAL KEyS> I HAVE SCANNED WItH AVG MALWAREBYTES AND SPyBOt MALWAREByTES FOUND EIGHt PROBLEMS WHICH IT SORtED BUT AVG AND SPyBOT DID NOt FIND ANYTHING DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SOFtWARE thAT CAN GO DEEP AND FIND thE VIRUS AND DESTROY IT HOPEFULLY FOR FREE IF I CANNOT GET RID OF THE VIRUS WILL I HAVE TO DO A WIPE THE HARDDISC AND REBUILD?

Are you sure it's not your keyboard causing the capital letter issue?

Looking at your post, it's centering the lower case letters arounf the letters 't' and 'y'. In the case of the letter t, if it is followed by 'h' then the 'h' is also lower case.

Perhaps coincidence, but 't', 'y' and 'h' are all next to each other on the keyboard.

Just a thought.

How do you know that?

As per OTT above, I suyspect you've got a hardware issue, possibly with the keyboard, as suggested.
