Virus on Laptop

I have just an old Toshiba laptop, that got infected with a virus afew years ago in Uni. I only used it for word processing and once it got infected I stopped using it.

All that was on it was Windows 98 running microsoft office 97, but now I want to use it again, is there any way to get rid of the virus, bearing in mind it has no cdrom drive for me to insert my Norton antivirus disc into it.

Has it got a Modem?

If so you should be able to follow the above route.

If not!

Has it got a network card?

If not

what ports have you available and what other computer resources have you?

Last Option! get a PC World Check Up for £30 or whatever!
