Virus detected, help please

  bear73 09:36 01 May 06

My AVG Free Edition just found some infected files on my computer. This has never happened before and I'm not sure what to do with them. It seemed AVG tried to Heal them but it failed.

There are 3 files that it says are infected.

Trojan Horse Downloader.Generic.OAX

What do I do with them, AVG has detected them but offers no help in getting rid of them.

Any help appreciated.

Are they in the virus vault?

If they are then delete them

After deletion re-scan

One of the Java/ByteVerify files is. They were all sitting in the scan results and this was the only one that allowed me to add to the virus vault when right clicking on it.

So I can delete this one but what do I do with the other two files which aren't in the virus vault?
