virus alert

I have just recieved a virus alert from My avast anti virus scanner that Win32:vibpack (wrm) Malware virus/worm is present. I have followed their advice and deleted it, But I cant find any reference to it online can anyone shed any light onto this one.

Sorry to post the same link - just took me longer reading variuos threads about this.

I'm not sure I agree with the conclusions on the thread that it's a problem with Adaware. I don't think Avast should be finding problems that don't exist - so as I read it

A) It's a real virus in a packed file - in which case why isn't Avast finding it inside the packed file in the first place? - Don't you have it set to scan inside packed files?

B) It's a false positive - which would also be an Avast problem
