Inadvertently opened a spam email this morning and immediately was informed I had a virus. The latest edition of AVG is running and shows everything to be fine. However, my screen wallpaper which has been there for ages has gone and I can find no trace of it in the system. Also, Im getting a warning from Windows that my computer is infected. It says click to repair but no amount of clicking produces any result. The warning balloon will not go away. Any ideas what I should do re using the PC for private matters etc or what I can do about the balloon.
