Virual CD Ripping problem

Hi, I Recently decided to tidy up my music collection on my PC so that I can use Itunes properly. A lot of the music on my PC has no track name, album name etc. Rather than dig all of my CD's out of the loft, I thought it might be possible to use a virtual drive, then 're-rip' the tracks, allowing itunes or Windows media player to get album info for me.
I purchased Noteburner as it claimed that it can act as a virual drive and lets you burn audio tracks to it. Thats fine, but then when I try to let itunes or media player 'see' the drive, it doesn't work. Does anyone know of a method of doing this please?
