Virgin Media - Unsupported MS Outlook

Over the last few days I have had problems forwarding e-mails to my work's email address.

They sit in the outbox and then I receive an send/receive error. I have tried to phone Virgin Technical Support but after 4.5 mins talk then inform me that they do not support MS Outlook.

I receive e-mails absolutely fine but cannot forward them. Does anyone have any suggestions please.

On the status page click here e-mail is currently shown in yellow which I suspect indicates some problems.

I must say that the one issue I have with Virgin is the regularity with which their e-mail servers have problems.

Thanks for that, but I seem to be able to receive e-mails absolutely fine.

If I send myself an e-mail to test it I receive it without any problems and more importantly am able to send it in the first place.
