VIR TOOL:JS/Obfuscator.P

Microsoft security essentials tells me it has quarantined VIR TOOL:JS/Obfuscator.P and then advises me to "Remove this software immediately" which I would do if I knew what and where it was, any ideas please.

I'm not familiar with Security Essentials, but it should offer you an option of deleting anything in quarantine.

When you open Security Essentials click on the 'History' tab. From there you can view the quarentined items and deltes as required. To have Security Essentials automatically remove malware\viruses click on the 'Settings' tab and 'Default actions' from there you can set what actions you want it to take.

A quick Google for the virus/trojan turned this up , click here on Bleeping Computer , it is nasty !! Read about it first , then decide , if Security Essentials can remove it then good , if not there seems to be a lot of work to do .....
