Looking for a little guidance re. broadband speed.I have just changed my package with Virgin and part of he deal was an increase of broadband speed from 2mb to 10 mb . when I carry out a speed test ,it shows 3.67 . Checked on their web site for basic trouble shooting / settings check and all seems to be o.k . Should I need a new modem for increase , tried rebooting , no difference. Grateful for any advice.

I had the same problem,i posted on the virgin BB newsgroup, and within a couple of hours, and after trying a couple of things,i was told a new modem was required.
The new modem arrived, phoned India(i assume),all up and running within 5 days, excellent service.

Tech Support on 151 option 3,try this for ordering a new modem, without going through the newsgroups.
