Viewing Web Pages From Abroad

When I try and view certain UK web pages from abroad I am prevented by Internet explorer but when I return to the UK I can view them normally. The only way I can currently do it is via my company network, I guess IE then thinks I'm in the UK. Can anyboy explain why and give me a workaround.

Are you being stopped by a firewall?

Thanks for the response ICF, No firewall problems as I can view the pages in the UK. Possibly the webpage in question recognises that I'm out of the UK
