viewing pages offline

I'm running IE6 in win98se.
When I open the "history" folder offline, I used to be able view most of the pages I had visited without saving them individualy.
Now I can only view very few. Either it has been caused by my installing various programmes - spybot, adaware, updating nav, or I must have changed some setting in IE6- the size of some cache or other.
Any ideas please

Days to keep history, and settings, amount of disk space to use.

Pesala,I'v'e had a 20 day limit on the history pages, so I don't think that's it. however, I've pushed the space setting up from 32M to 100M and I'll let you know if that solves the problem.

Found the answer. I'd started to delete Temp internet files manualy more often than I used to, and now I've spotted the correlation with the history links disappearing.
