viewing directory contents?????dos prompt dummy!

from command prompt, if i enter eg. dir c: i get a list of the contents of my c drive, but if the list is longer than the height of the screen, i can only see the bottom of the list. how do i "scroll" up to see the top/rest f the list?

try dir/p you can then scroll down using the down

Type it like this DIR /P and then press enter. you press enter to see one page at a time

or Dir > filenmame.txt to output to a file

or use Windows Explorer (~_~)
