I have downloaded a couple of films and when i try to play them, i can hear the sound but get no picture. It does not come up with any messages, IE: no codec, etc. Is there a programme that downloads all codecs at once and whatever the film is it choses the right ones and plays?.

Try installing RealAlternative and the basic video player that installs - it's pretty good at playing most things:

Free-Codecs.com :: Download Real Alternative 1.50 : Real Alternative will allow you to play RealMedia files without having to install RealPlayer/RealOne Player
