have a 21 inch Mitsubishi monitor but my video or dvds wont play at this resolution all the time. if i reboot it works but after a while i omly get a black screen. this is the prime resolution in the manual. i have a 64mb ati radeon 7000. if i reduce the resolution it works fine.

thanks in advance

What happens if you reduce your refresh rate? Sometimes you may restrict the resolution if you set the refresh rate too high.

refresh rate is set at 85 this is wat the manual says is the prime setup. this problem does not happen all the time!!!!

They are usually best at 800x600

Any higher and it will not fill the screen just a picture with a boarder
