video card for media pc

what sort of video card would ppl recommend in a shuttle pc being used as a media pc. It must connect to tv not monitor and if possible play dvds at possibly record tv programs onto the hd

Hi, I would recommend one of the latest Radeon Series pci cards. I'm sure this would cover all your needs in a Shuttle. Cheers.

ps: you would of course, need a dvd cdrom to play dvd's.

can any one specify a model number. it needs to show everything onto tv screen as the pc will not have a monitor.

Hi again, mine is the cheapest in the range, it is the Radeon 9200/128MB DDR, it is AGP 8x, 2-View (which means monitor and TV) TV Out, and it included a free PowerDVD 5 on cd.
