is it possible to stop video adds from running in thunderbird, I find that they consume a lot of CPU.

Bit puzzled by this. Thunderbird is an e-mail client. What ads? Do you get them in e-mails?

sorry about that it should have said firefox,have now found an addon that do's the trick fine and have my browsing back up to speed.
