I want to connect composite cables from a vcr to my computer.
NOW I NEED TO KNOW WERE DO THE COMOJSITE CABLES CONNECT ON THE VIDEO, THEIR ARE COPOSITES PLUGS ON THE FRONT OF THE VIDEO, AND TWO SCARTS AT THE REAR OF THE MACHINE SO WERE DO I CONNECT THE CABLES SO I CAN IMPORT THE FOOTAGE FROM THE VIDEO AND INTO THE PC.
ANY HELP WOULD BE A APPRECIATED THANKYOU.

The sockets on the front will be for INPUT to the recorder.

For a composite output the easiest way to access this is to use an adapter something like one of the ones on click here
Scroll down to the second item on that page - I have several of them.

Note that very often with recorders with two SCART connectors, only one is wired with an output.

To IMPORT VHS into you computer you will need some means of converting the analogue vhs signal to digital. You computer will not have this as standard so you must look for a solution which fits your pocket.
I would suggest you look at these and decide which would be best for you.

If your aim is to ultimately put it on dvd get a dvd recorder by far the most straightforward Though should you wish to edit the dvd then you still need software but there are freebies with limited editing
