fitted my new ASUS V8170 MX440 AGP Card, but when installing the drivers from CD it prompts you which option to install the VIA 4in1 Drivers.

The M/board is a VIA chipset. The options given to instal the VIA 4in1 Drivers are Standard Mode or install in Turbo Mode.

The CPU is a intel PIII 650MHZ Slot1 and Via Chipset VT82C693A using Win98Se.

All help greatfull as manual isn't very understandable for me.

The updated 4 in 1 drivers will be needed to get the best (or in some cases, anything) from your card. As I understand it it updates the AGP drivers. I installed mine in standard mode and it worked fine. My card is the Gainward MX440 so is essentially the same card. Hope this helps.

and not Turbo. Only thing I am a bit concerned about is a new DVD ROM drive I fitted which is a little slow to open the tray when pressing the button.

But thanks for the above.
