Very Loud Beeping

I was on my PC a few nights ago when suddenly the screen went off, and followed by very loud Beeping from the Tower?

After about 2 mins the tower cut out and failed to boot up again?

Check the fuse and fuse had blown.
Has this happened to anyone before?
Did the fuse Blow cause the pc to beep or did the Computer make the fuse blow?? a Mystery!

And what was that noise!!!

What ever fault caused the beeping also blew the fuse

The bleeping was a warning to shut down, possibly overheat.

Examin the hptherboard carefully for signs of burning.

Have a look at the list off error codes, and be prepared to scroll down to match your motherboard BIOS.

You say the beeping was loud, but I guess normal for the case speaker and not what you wanted to hear anyway. The number of bleeps and their pattern should indicate what was wrong at the time.

I suspect/guessing the trouble started with the video card and later overloaded the PSU.
Whatever actually happened may take some detection and patience.
If there was a shortcircuit, it may still be present and capable of blowing almost any of the basic hardware in the box.

So sending the CPU back to the supplier as still under warranty is the best plan of attack!

Sounds very bad and best to get check out professionally?
