I have AVI files of about 500mb I want to burn them onto vcd in nero . I start nero use the wisard to get to the vcd screen then I drag a avi file of 500mb to the burn window it adds file then when i click on burn the buning wisard comes up ok but after file encoding is done AVI file wont fit onto a 700mb disc nero is telling me that the file is to big and its showing the file to be 700 mb when its only 500 mb is there something I have to change to get it to burm.

use the overburning option in nero if your drive supports it.test before burning.

When Nero burns this as a VCD it has to change the file format hence the extra 200 Mb. If you burnt the AVI file on as an AVI then, yes, it would be about the same size.

Overburning is your only option if you CDRW supports it..

CyberDrive CD-RW drives do not support overburning.
