Hi,

can anyone tell me how I can use the data from a field in Excel in a variable in a VBScript (WSH)?

Thanks

OK, in the software we use in my company I have a lot of data I would like to modify.

As the software in itself does not allow it, I would like to do it myself.

The easiest way for me is to export the data from the software to excel (the soft does allow that) and then, after having modified it in the excel file, to reimport it (which the soft does not allow).

I can do that in a VBscript with cut and paste using the Sendkeys Method but sometimes I would like the VBscript to make a decision according to the data it finds in the Excel field.

So I'm looking for a way to do this. If I could get the data of that Excel field into a variable in the VBscript I'd be able to solve this.
