"USRprbdA.exe DLL initialization failed"

The above error message appears briefly each time I shut down my computer. Any idea why? And is there anything I can do to get rid of it? It doesn't seem to do anything bad to the computer but it's irritating me!

How are the ducks?

Thanks, saw that all ready but it doesn't tell me how to remove/repair it in a way I feel comfortable with--sounds a bit risky to me (by the way, all three links offer the same solution). Have looked at the USR website and there's nothing there that I can find. Can anyone suggest anything else?

Sadly no birds left here, now, Graham: we had to rehome them all early this year. Our son had an operation on his foot in April, and the risk of infection from the birds was too great. Don't know if this will work here, but if so--this is his foot a couple of days after the op. The frame comes off in the autumn.
