using USB Flash drive

I have XP Home and have bought a flash drive 128MB if I plug it into the usb what is the best way to transfer pictures etc. Do I remove it by the taskbar method? can I then plug it into my laptop Win ME and how do I extrac t the etc ? What do I do to delete everything so that I can store new things on it?

Yest, but it won't give you a second chance by putting it in the recycle bin.

By the way, when you want to remove the falsh drive click on the little icon in the system tray which will bring up "safely remove device" or some such, then click on the line of text. If you don't do this you can end up losing a buffer full of data and, possible getting requests to reformat the drive.
