using ts files

Several types of files TS DMG SRT will not open in windows vista on research all seem to be a fault in windows registry not to happy with playing about with registry anyone any information to help.

Can you tell us what you expect them to open with in your particular usage of them - as there are a number of possibilities with these file types.

DVD/Video related. have googled but most of the info is that I have a faulty registry

If you look at the files on a DVD in Windows Explorer it will have Audio files and Transport files (TS).
The TS files only seem to act as a folder to contain the backup files, INF files and the VOB files which contain the actual program files of the video.
I could be wrong but thats how I see it.
