just wondered.

It came bundled with my new PC.

It's ok but I prefer Nero - seems to be down to what people get used to more than anything else.

I had free Sonic burner s/ware bundled with my first DVD writer but I experienced problems. if burning with Norton the burn would stop completely at 80% each time.

I could only burn succesfully with Norton turned off.Needless to say I have now gone away from Symantec's Norton programme.

I now use Nero and no problems.

Have used sonic for over a year as I to got it with PC. Have had no problems. Found it less complicated than my previous version of Nero, although I can't comment on how good the newer versions of Nero are. I would give Sonic a try, and then if you find it not to your liking think about buting something else.
